Dare I say it...9 months!

Ok, time can really slow down! All of a sudden I'm feeling like Brylee is so close to a year old, and it's making me sad. I really wasn't that sad when Addison's first birthday approached - the little stinker gave us a run for it in her first year (and beyond) - so we were celebrating that we made it through and looking forward to some improvements with year #2!

Brylee's sweet personality is such that I don't want her to get older. She's just so much fun, which I know will only get better with age, but still. I'm trying to savor what's left of her baby months. Hardly a baby at this point, but yet such a baby.

Here's to 9 months, sweet girl!

Ahhhhh...too cute! I love this little lady. She's so beautiful inside and out!!

Yeah, I'm big stuff and can give myself a bottle! She's doing a great job feeding herself these days. She knows that eating is her main job! I don't think we've put anything in front of her that she hasn't devoured! For example, a dinner may look like almost a full (small) sweet potato, a good handful of peas, and some noodles. When she really likes something, she continually makes "mmmmmmm" noises as she stuffs her face. Pretty awesome to have such a great eater.

Some of her current favorites: blueberries, spaghetti meat sauce, noodles, pears, peaches
Nothing she dislikes, though Cheerios have sort of lost their luster. Bummer! :)

Is she as kissable to you as she is to me?! MWAH!

She's still pretty easy to please! She certainly knows what she wants now, but can usually be pacified/distracted if that something is something she shouldn't have.

9 month pictures proved to be the turning point of it becoming harder to get pictures. She wasn't too interested in sitting still for me.

One of her favorite things this past month...clapping. If anyone says, "Yeah," Brylee will start cheering along. My favorite time that she claps is when I open the car door to get her out. "Yeah, I'm being rescued!"

Sweet sisterly lovin'. Lately, anytime Addison comes near Brylee, Addison gets a big one planted on her. Brylee will *sometimes* give kisses on demand, accompanied by the "ooohhhh" noise. Love it!

My two cuties! Addison's job was to "hold on to her," and she did just that!

Peek-a-boo! And, I love her little teethers! Still at just those two, but she currently has a little diaper rash and runny nose, so maybe more are on their way.

"HEY!"

Peek-a-boo, round 2, in such a cute fashion! She loves playing games with us! One of her latest games with Mommy is Mommy putting her pacifier (the hard plastic part) in my mouth. She takes it out of my mouth, into her mouth, and then takes it out and puts it back in my mouth. She thinks it's so funny!!

There are those eyes again!! She has been pretty consistent with her shut eye time though. She sleeps through the night from 7:30-7ish. Her two naps are still about 1 1/2 hours - 2 hours each. Thank you, Brylee!

Keep playing with me, Mommy! She loves being around people! She will play by herself, but much prefers interactions.

Look what I learned this past month!!! She is on the move!! Right about 8 1/2 months it all clicked and she took off. A couple days after crawling started, she was pulling herself up.

She is very happy to be exploring the house in a new fashion! It sure makes life busier, but it is so fun to watch her taking off.

Don't mind me...I'm off and away!!

So CUTE!! It's fun how close our girls are, and then how similar and different they do things! Lauren doesn't do the peek-a-boo thing, and she's not quite so smoochy with her kisses. They are VERY rare for us!

Brylee's personality seems to just ooze through those photos of her...you did a great job capturing her sweetness! Wish I was there for a cuddle while she's so little!
