My Giraffes

The Giraffe Sisters posing before trick-or-treating!

Grandma (and Grandpa) Painter came over for some Halloween fun.

(Grandpa's fun actually lasted all day with the girls. On top of a nasty cold/sinus infection/bronchitis/laryngitis, I came down with a flu bug in the middle of the night. He graciously came over for the day while I went to the doctor and then barely moved from my bed the rest of the day!)

She had the routine down pat (or so I'm told since I wasn't up for tagging along this year). Ring the bell, move away from the door, say "trick-or-treat," take time to ponder the candy choices, pick her favorite, say "thank you," and repeat!

Oh the cuteness.

Some family friends created a maze for their grandkids in their basement. They extended the invitation to Addison, who wanted to bring along one of her best buddies, Landon. They loved it!

Making her way through!

Peek-a-boo!

Addison's first pumpkin carving experience. She dug right in and hardly wanted or needed help to get the guts out.

The carvers and their finished product.

A happy girl with her happy pumpkin.
